By car

  • Leave the A27 at the Bremerhaven-Zentrum exit,
  • Follow the signs to Havenwelten,
  • The zoo is located directly on the Weser dike.

Arrival by train

Travel quickly, cheaply (e.g. with the Niedersachsen-Ticket / www.niedersachsentarif.de) and environmentally friendly and enjoy your journey from the very beginning.

Rail travel information not only provides train schedules, it also tells you when trams and buses run and how long it takes to walk to and from the next stop.

By City Bus

  • From the main station, take the 502, 505, 506, 508, 509 bus to the Havenwelten stop.
  • Walk along Columbusstraße to the dike, then turn right into H.-H.-Meier-Straße to the zoo.

Parking Lot

The "Havenwelten" parking garage is located in the immediate vicinity of the zoo (fee required). Click on the following link for more information: www.bremerhaven.de.

There is also a public parking lot across the street from the zoo.
