Accessibility at Zoo am Meer
To ensure that visitors to the Zoo am Meer feel welcome and comfortable, the visitor area is largely (approx. 95%) barrier-free. Only the viewing terraces are not accessible with a wheelchair/walker or stroller. People who use a wheelchair/walker or similar walking aid, as well as families with strollers, can move around the entire zoo and see all species without any problems. Accompanying persons with severe disabilities are admitted free of charge with a notation (B) on their disability pass.
If you have any problems or questions during your visit to the Zoo, the Zoo staff will be happy to help you. We look forward to your visit!
