Obligatory supervision
Children under the age of 12 and persons who do not have the necessary maturity to respect the house rules or who require constant supervision, due to their mental or physical condition, are only allowed to be on the zoo when accompanied by an adult who takes responsibility.

Gift vouchers
You like to surprise someone with an animal experience?
Give away a voucher for entry to the zoo. We can issue vouchers for day and annual tickets. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a voucher for a specific amount of money.
We will send you the voucher by post (plus shipping costs) or issue it to you directly at the ticket office. If a voucher is sent by post, payment will be made against invoice. You will receive the invoice together with the voucher. (Prepayment is not required.)

We need the following information to process your order:
- Your name and address
- Number of vouchers
- What type of vouchers you would like to order (e.g., for a day pass for adults or an annual pass for families)?
- Your phone number in case we need to contact you
We cannot process your order unless we have all of the above information.
Voucher validity
Vouchers are valid for three years from date of issue.

Annual tickets are personal and non-transferable. Each pass holder will receive a card with a photo ID card. The photo is taken at the ticket office when the annual ticket is purchased.
Validity: Your annual ticket is valid for 365 days from the date of issue.
Tips for your annual tickets
To ensure that the renewal, issuance or redemption of your annual ticket or voucher goes smoothly and without long waiting times, we have a few tips for you
- It is generally possible to purchase an annual ticket during regular business hours. However, due to the high number of visitors (especially on Sundays and holidays or during vacation periods), there may be long waiting times. Our tip: During these times, plan to purchase your Annual Pass after 4 p.m., as the ticket office is generally less busy.
- During the winter months (November through January), for organizational reasons, annual passes can only be issued on weekends.
As an annual ticket holder, you have additional benefits:
- If you are accompanied by people who do not have an annual ticket, one person will receive the reduced group rate.
- Book a guided tour or children's birthday party and receive a one-time 10% discount.
