Children's birthday parties at the Zoo am Meer
1.) Zoo Treasure Hunt (for children ages 5-7)
On a treasure hunt, participants learn how our zoo animals are adapted to their habitat. In the zoo and behind the scenes, the goal is to solve tricky puzzles and tasks related to our animals.
2.) Zoo Fun (for children ages 7-9)
On this fun birthday tour in the zoo and behind the scenes, children learn through play about the importance of enrichment and training for our zoo animals. They make their own enrichment for one of our animals and watch what they do with it.
3.) Exploring the Zoo (for children ages 9-12)
Does the birthday child have what it takes to be a real scientist? The children receive a researcher's pass and together use the zoo school's professional research equipment to get to the bottom of the animals' secrets. During a walk behind the scenes, the children find out why scientists work in the zoo and what this has to do with species protection.
For everyone:
Depending on the mood of the animals or the wishes of the birthday child, animals can be fed or a snake can be touched with courage.
Please note that it is not possible to know in advance whether an animal will be the "star guest" at a child's birthday party. Therefore, we would like to point out that the program described above are not guaranteed when booking a children's birthday party. Afterwards, you and your friends can go on a zoo rally or romp around in the playground until the zoo closes.
A little tip from us: A child's birthday party is only fun at a certain age. We recommend a minimum age of 5 years.
Experiencing animals with all your senses makes the birthday party a unique experience!

Cancellation of the booking
When booking a child's birthday party, we would like to point out that if you cancel on the day of the party, a fee of 30.00 Euro will be charged. If you cancel in time (>24 hours in advance), we charge no fees.
Birthday menu on request
The restaurant Deli am Meer is located in the Zoo. A children's birthday menu can be prepared on request at a colorfully decorated table (for 5 people or more):
